I think the top freestyle guys have adjusted

And the new rules have made it a lot more fun to watch. Like any time David Taylor our Jordan Burroughs competes points will be scored.

The 2017 world championships and trials were worth going out of your way to watch, compared to the 2004 and 2008 Olympics which were a collection of painful close matches decided by tie breakers and arbitrary scores like the clench. It was a an act of love for the sport to watch some of those matches.
